Concept of Operations 1

Concept of Operations 1 involves automatic reporting of configuration where the telematics device is installed in the Prime mover which calculates the distance and location points. The telematics system installed also has the capability to automatically detect the change in configuration (if any) along with the reporting of recorded fuel consumption.

Factors for calculating the distance-based charges for ConOps 1

• Distance travelled on public road

• Vehicle configuration

• Regulatory mass

The total Road user charging (RUC) for this configuration would be the sum of Registration charges along with Distance-based charge for whole configuration unit.
